Scotland

I have been in Scotland for six days now which is the reason why I didn’t post anything this week.
For years I had been planning to go to Scotland but never did because of various reasons. A few months ago I got a text from a friend saying how great his vacation in Scotland was.
That was the very moment I decided to just go on my vacation as well. So even though I am incredibly busy putting togeher my exhibition and finishing my first small comic book (and with a couple of other things going on) I just booked a flight and went to Scotland. I’m currently staying in the beautiful city Inverness which is located in the Highlands. I’ve done loads of things and seen beautiful places!

Three days ago I hiked along a part of the “Great Glen Way” – I walked almost 20 kilometres (about 12 miles) and I rode along the Loch Ness.
After those rather exhausting days I spend a day in Inverness, sitting in cafés and doing some shopping.
I found that beautiful art supply shop that had awesome sketchbooks for half the price. Of course I couldn’t resist getting two!

Today I’m going to see the Highland Games in a small town called Drumnadrochit. And in a couple of days I’ll be back to posting drawings, comics and art stuff!
